Miller High Life is brewed with light-stablized hops that make it so that the hops do not "skunk." Beers bottled in clear bottles without the light stablilized hops, like Corona, skunk easily which is why Corona is served with a lime to blocking the skunking smell.
What is heat pasteurization?
Heat pasteurization allows you to store beer on shelves without refrigeration for up to 18 weeks. The beer is placed into cans/bottles and then sent into the pasteurizer. The pasteurizer heats the beer up to 1450-degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes . This kills any micro-organisms inside the beer that could potentially spoil it.
What is the difference between a keg and a barrel?
A keg is equal to half a barrel. And each keg is the equivalent of 7 cases or 235 glasses! A full barrel is 31 gallons, 14 cases, or 570 glasses!
